Program Description

Library services for Indian River County. Adult and children's programming throughout the year. Children's programs include story time, toddler time, baby time, and arts and crafts for school aged children. Adult programs include book discussion groups, writer/poet workshops, Master Gardeners, Scrabble Coffee House and more.

Mondays 10:00 -11:30 a.m. FLYP for Fitness makes exercise fun! Sneakers and a water bottle required. Program is for 1st - 5th graders. Offered Thrusdays 11:00 -12:00 FLYP for Art for 1st- 5th grades, Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Kid- Fit! for 3-6 year olda, Wednesdays 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. A fun and educational health and fitness program for 3 to 6 year olds. Parents and older siblings may join in the fun. Registration is not required. Children must wear comfortable clothes and sneakers and bring a bottle of water. Story Time: 2-5 year olds, Tuesdays 1);00 a.m. registration is not required Baby Sign Language: Mondays 10:00 a.m. The Sign Language classes are informal, fun and educational experiences for birth to two year olds and their families. The programs focus primarily on rhymes and songs and learning of common sign language words and phrases. Registration is not required for these programs.
