Program Description

The School District of Indian River County Exceptional Student Education Department is committed to providing high-quality, specially-designed educational opportunities for all students with disabilities and students identified as gifted. We believe that all students with disabilities should be taught in their least restrictive environment; that is, the environment which most closely resembles the educational environment of their peers without disabilities while appropriately supporting their access, involvement, and progress within their individualized education program.
