Program Description

Our English as a Second Language (ESL) Program is designed to help non-native speakers improve their English language skills through structured lessons focusing on reading, writing, speaking, and listening. These programs often cater to various proficiency levels and aim to enhance the students? integration into English-speaking environments. The English as a Second Language Program is for non-native English speakers to improve their English skills in order to successfully begin living and working in the United States. Students learn skills that can be applied to daily life and help students transition to higher education or the workforce. Our ESL Program has a variety of schedule options. We offer morning and evening classes at every location 2-4 days per week. We also offer online classes for students with a busier schedule.

Eligibility Requirements and Important Information

Over age 16 Fall 2026: August 19th ? December 9th Port St. Lucie, Ft. Pierce, Vero Beach, Stuart, Okeechobee $30 per semester Fall enrollment begins: Wednesday, July 8th, 2026 Fall enrollment ends: Thursday, October 15th, 2026 New students will have to submit an application, which includes a one-time $20 application fee. A valid SSN or ITIN must be entered in the application.

Other Fee Information

There will be a tuition charge for IRSC Adult Education. This includes Adult High School, GED and ESL. The cost will cover all classes during a semester. $30 per semester for Florida residents and $120 for non-Florida residents.
