Program Description
12-bed shelter for teens (11-17) runaways & youth in need of a "time out", who are not under supervision for delinquency nor dependency.
The Shelter is available for a maximum of two weeks.
Residential & non-residential services include screening, case management, and intensive individual, family & group counseling to youths & their families free of charge.
Services are designed to prevent entry into the formal juvenile delinquency system.
CINS/FINS (Children In Need of Services/Families in Need of Services) program also available and offers services to youth who are ungovernable, truant and/or runaways.
Project Safe Place program provides immediate safety and assistance for runaway youth and youth in crisis.
Up to 6 weeks of in-home and family counseling are provided.
