Program Description

Welcome to the Indian River District, the northernmost district in the Gulf Stream Council, Providing service to all Scouting Units in Indian River County. We have over 200 scouts across 6 Cub Scout Packs, 5 BSA Boy Troops, 2 BSA Girl Troops, 1 Venturing Crew, and 1 Sea Scout Ship. Nestled within our district is the remarkable Camp Oklawaha, a haven of outdoor excitement and a hub for unforgettable scouting experiences. The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law. Our district meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m., held at Living Lord Lutheran Church; located on 58th Street in Vero Beach.
