Program Description
All of us at Kidz Closet Charities are volunteers.
We are a grassroots, community effort that strives to connect a local resource (clothing and children's items) with those who are in need and so often go without. Kidz Closets consignees have the option to donate any items that have not sold after 75 days to the charity. Kidz Closet Charities partners with existing agencies, programs and public schools in Indian River County to distribute the donated items.
We are proud to say that 100% of all cash contributions go directly to our agency, program, and school partners.
If $20 is donated for the purchase of diapers, $20 is spent on the purchase of diapers.
The only overhead Kidz Closet Charities incurs is rent of storage space and utilities which is minimal and is paid for by a private donor.
If you are not familiar with the consignment store ' Kidz Closet of Vero Beach -- you really should take some time and visit it at 812 21st Street on the Miracle Mile. The store sells very gently-used infant, children, junior, maternity clothing as well as toys, books, strollers, pack 'n plays and children items all in excellent condition.
