Program Description
Legacy Behavioral Health Center is dedicated to improving the quality of life and well-being of multigenerational individuals and their families by offering culturally sensitive healthcare, recovery, and supportive services that promote and enhances emotional, social and personal growth.
Legacy provides the following services:
1. Psychiatric services: psychiatric evaluations, medication management, taking of Vital Signs and completion of disability documentation.
2. Psychological services: psychologival testing, psychological evaluations, and psychosexual evaluations.
3. Outpatient services: Individual therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and group therapy (parentign skills, anger management, art therapy).
4. Substance abuse services for adults and adolescents: substance abuse education, such as strategiesfor avoiding substance abuse, and motivational enhancement and strategies for achieving a substane-free style. services inlclude psychiatric services, outpatient therapy, and day treatment services.
Areas of focus include: a. Life skills training b. Non-verbal therapies c. Training or advising on health and medical issues; d. employment or education support to assist clients in becoming financially independent.
5. Therapeutic Bheavioral On-Site Services (TBOS): encompasses intensive therapy on-site (schools, shelters, foster homes, and/or daycare centers) to children and their families. A range of treatment modalities and interventionsare used to meet the client's needs.
6. Therapeutic Behavioral Support Services (TSS): provides supportive services on-site(schools, shelters, foster homes, and/or daycare centers) to children and their families. Interventions inlclude, but are not limited to, the following: parenting training & coaching, behavior modifiation, socialization skills, effective listening skills, effective communication, anger management.
7. Targeted Case Management: provide community resources for children and adults to prevention out of hme placement, and advocate and link to appropriate mental health and substance abuse services.
