Program Description

Shelter opens when temperature is forecasted to drop below 35 degrees or 40 degrees with rain. The shelter is located at The Source, 1015 Commerce Avenue, Vero Beach, FL. Clients will be provided storage for personal items and dinner which will be served at 6:00pm. The Source will accept homeless clients until 9:00pm each night. Indian River County Emergency Management will provide a central phone-in center for cold night shelter status and weather information:
