Program Description

Seeking to put God's love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope.

We do this by offering 2 programs to residents in need in Indian River County: the traditional Habitat Home Purchasing program and our latest initiative the Critical Repair Program.

For families in need of low cost, long term, affordable housing, the Habitat Home Purchasing program puts home ownership in the grasp of families unable to qualify for conventional mortgages. Families in need of assistance of repairs for their owner-occupied dwellings may qualify for our Critical Repair Program. Critical repairs include handicap accessibility improvements, weatherization for seniors and overall general quality of life improvements. Income and residency qualifications do apply.
