Program Description
Healthy Start is the gateway for pregnant women and families to be connected with support services and resources through our universal prenatal screening, conducted with our Obstetrical providers in Indian River County.
All pregnant women, regardless of their economic status, are eligible to participate in the Healthy Start program, especially if they are at high risk for a poor birth outcome.
All infants born in Indian River County receive a postnatal screening to identify any at-risk health or developmental issues for the infant and follow up with support services.
Healthy Start Programs:
Healthy Start Care Coordination, Parents As Teachers, Healthy Families of IRC, Belly Beautiful, TLC Newborn and MomCare
Our Passion: Helping mothers and their infants is the foundation of everything we do at the Coalition
