Program Description
JUMP Into Reading is a school base reading mentoring program.
This program matches a kindergartner, first or second grader with a caring adult. The volunteer and child spend a minimum of half an hour twice per week.
Eligibility: Kindergarten - first or second grade students in Indian River County Schools. Application, release forms, interviews; volunteers & clients must be approved before being accepted into program.
Tennis, Education & Mentoring (TEAM) meets twice each week at a local Boys/Girls Club, call for more details.
Children of Promise is a faith/community based program that matches Bigs with littles whose parents are incarcerated in a state or federal prison.
This program provides hope to a child in crisis and is a pro active way to help break the cycle of crime.
Gem (Golf Education and Mentoring), in conjunction with Boys & Girls Clubs meets once a week, call for more details.
